Jacalin Plates, available in various formats, are designed for their specific affinity to molecules containing non-reducing α-D-galactosyl groups. These plates are ideal for binding carbohydrate-binding proteins and glycoproteins, particularly those found in IgA1 and cell membranes. Jacalin, a lectin derived from the seeds of Artocarpus integrifolia (jackfruit), is widely used for isolating glyco-conjugates and glycoproteins with distinct carbohydrate structures.

The Jacalin Coated 96 Well Plates are ideal for a variety of applications, including the specific binding of human IgA1 with steric orientation, the purification of human immunoglobulins (particularly IgA1), and the separation of antigen-antibody immunocomplexes. Additionally, they are used for isolating IgA1 from contaminants and stimulating T-cells. These features make the plates a versatile tool for both immunological and biochemical assays.

Jacalin Coated 96 Well Plates are pre-blocked in order to minimize any non-specific binding and to ensure long-term stability.

Jacalin Coated Plates are available in clear, white, and black polystyrene in Breakable Strip, Strip and Solid format. They are suitable for ELISA, Luminescence, Fluorescence, and Chemiluminescent assays.
